The Opportunity:

Due to organisational growth and strategic change, AMES Australasia (Winner of the AHRI Lynda Gratton CEO Award)  is seeking an experienced HR Performance Specialist with a background ideally in commercial business with strong human resource optimisation improvement. The successful candidate also will have strong Human Resource operational experience and boast in their ability to build relationships, problem solve, communicate effectively across all parts of the business and who has a keen eye for detail.

 

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Support a client group of approximately 400 employees which will grow up to 700 + in coming years and commercially advising leaders through their people issues in developing behaviours and technical expertise.
  • Understand objective setting and accountability of objectives
  • Monitoring and transfer of objectives in everyone’s normal work role
  • Workforce planning and matters contributing to our ongoing growth and development of the company.
  • Working closely with the Human Resource Head, delivering a high level of internal customer service with a strong focus on providing pragmatic commercially relevant solutions
  • Partner with stakeholders to successfully deliver key HR projects and initiatives
  • Reflect high energy, drive, learning agility, creative thinking and a clear values alignment to Ames Australasia

 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Tertiary Education in HR (postgrad or masters would be preferable)
  • A strong knowledge of Psychology/Organisational Behaviour in Human Resources would be advantageous upon application
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in or similar role with a demonstrable track record of working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.
  • This is a high energy role for someone with a broad base of HR experience
  • Excellent communication, resilience and a fair and objective nature is also necessary to be successful for this role
